Avalon's
School of Real Estate pre-licensing course is designed to prepare candidates
for the Nevada Real Estate Licensing Examination. The course is comprised
of 90-hours of material including Real Estate Agency, Ownership, Transfer,
Valuation, Economics, Finance and Law which are required on the national portion
of the examination. The preparation for the state portion includes NRS
645,113,116,119,119A,119B and their respective administrative codes.
(This course is designed to take the student ten weeks to complete.
However, the student must keep the course at least twelve days and no longer than one year before
taking the final examination with the school).

For online practice exams: www.modernrealestatepractice.com and enter your personal student access code, allows students to mix and match the hundreds of questions in the Modern Real Estate Practice text into their own quizzes and exams. Also included is the Real Estate Student Exam Prep for the Nevada State specific portion (easy learning law outline), and a copy of the Real Estate Division Handbook for Real Estate Licensees and Qualified Intermediaries. Also includes the course outline, ten homework assignments, the student catalog and the application for the state examination. 45 Hours Law & Ethics (Course Includes 18 Hours Nevada Law)
There will be 10 homework assignments in your package with step by step instructions in each lesson, each one explaining in detail chapters to read and lessons to complete. After each lesson you must answer 50 multiple choice questions. Each of the 50 questions contained in the home work assignments has four responses labeled either A, B, C, and D. Read each question thoroughly and decide which of the given responses is best. Then mark this response in the appropriate space in your answer sheet. Make sure you select only one response and correctly mark it on your answer sheet. Multiple responses to a single question must be scored as incorrect. Please grade your tests using the correct answers at the end of each lesson. Simply put a check mark by an incorrect answer. Then write the total number of incorrect answers on the top of your answer sheet page. Example: (Missed 10), Homework is to be completed after studying each lesson. Please return the answer sheet only to the school. Once you've completed the course, contact Avalon School of Real Estate to take your final exam.
Students enrollment is good for 1-year. Three 2-month extensions are available to you for an extension service fee of $50.00 each time you extend your course. No further extension will be granted to students once they have reached the 1.5 year anniversary of their initial enrollment.

Real Estate Law & Ethics (45-Hour Credit) includes 18-Hours Nevada Law $275.
Designed for those individuals who have partially met the educational requirements for an original salesman's license in Nevada with courses from another state. Topics include: (1) Ownership, transfer and use of property, 25 hours. (2) Chapters 113,116,119,119A,119B and 645 of NRS and the regulations adopted there under, 18 hours. (3) Applied practice, 2 hours. (This course is designed to take the student five weeks to complete. However, the student must keep the course at least six days and no longer than one year before
taking the final examination with the school).

Real Estate Broker Management (45-Hours Credit) $185.
This is a required course by the State of Nevada as of January 1, 2001. This course is mandatory and there are no exceptions if you are interested in becoming a Broker or Broker-Salesman in the State of Nevada, unless you have taken a similar course in another state. Areas which are covered include: Risk management, office policy, controlled business arrangements, employer/employee relationships, business planning, real estate law and ethics, finance valuation, agency relationships, and emerging trends. This course is 45-hours long as required by the Real Estate Division of the State of Nevada for an original broker's or broker-salesman's license under NRS 645.343.2 (b). (This course is designed to take the student five weeks to complete. However, the student must keep the course at least six days and no longer than one year before
taking the final examination with the school).
Course includes: Text book (Real Estate Brokerage A Management Guide 6TH ED) Cyr, Sobeck, Mcadams. Also includes a binder workbook composed of 18 quizzes, 180 questions and answers, course outline, and the application for the state examination and free online practice test taking.
Course consists of 18 quizzes/answers and one final examination:

Read the textbook and complete the associated quizzes included in the separate binder. Once you have completed the practice quizzes, check your answers with the answer key. The page numbers are referenced so you can go over any questions you did not answer correctly. In order to receive credit for the course, the student must mail, fax, or email all completed answer grids to the school.

Real Estate Appraisal
(45-Hours Credit) $185.
This is a required course for those candidates wishing to obtain a Nevada Real Estate Broker or Broker/Salesperson License. (This course may be waived by experience). Topics which are covered include: Types of value, economic principles, the real estate market and its analysis, the process of valuation, description, highest and best use of real estate. Other topic include: mathematics and statistics related to appraisals, analysis of value by comparison, cost, and income, valuation of site and partial interests, ethics, and law of the state. (This course is designed to take the student five weeks to complete. However, the student must keep the course at least six days and no longer than one year before taking the final examination with the school).

book (Fundamentals of Real Estate Appraisal 9TH ED) Ventolo, Williams. Appraise-it CD ROM 3.5 for windows. Also includes a binder workbook composed of 15 quizzes, 202 questions and answers, course outline, and the application for the state examination and free online practice test taking.
Course consists of 15 quizzes/answers and one final examination:
45 Hour Fundamentals of Real Estate Appraisal.

National Refresher Course
& Nevada Real Estate Law (18-Hour Credit) $195.
An identical course to the 18-hour
Nevada Real Estate Law course but also includes the National and Real
Estate Law portion of the course for refresher taken by students who are
licensed in other state's than Nevada, having already completed a 90-hour
course in their state and need to show 18-hours of Nevada Real Estate
Law credit for licensing, but still need to sit for the
whole state examination because they have not taken the state examination
in another state within the last year.

Cancellation/Refund Policy:
The total price for this 90 Hour course including materials is $285.00
Course starts the
date of delivery. Refund request received in writing, during the first
40% of the course will receive a prorated refund, less a $103. material
fee ($285. - $103.) X 10% = $18.20 tuition). Material fee is non-refundable.
No refund will be given after the student has completed over 40% of the
course. If for any reason, the course is canceled by Avalon School of
Real Estate, a full refund will be made.
Example:
Kay enrolled in our 10-week program for $285. on August 1, and
cancelled in writing at the end of 1 week, August 7. Kay attended 10%
of the program (1/10 weeks = 10%), and her refund would be calculated
as follows:
